LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Boise State knows there's no margin for error in its long-shot mission to land an at-large BCS bid. The No. 18 Broncos were far from perfect Sunday night against New Mexico State, but good enough to make sure they stayed in the BCS picture.
 
Miami, FIU have 31 players suspended

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - After reviewing a sideline-clearing brawl between players from Miami and Florida International, officials from both schools and their conferences on Sunday announced the suspension of 31 players _ 13 from the Hurricanes, and 18 from FIU.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa (AP) - Rondell Biggs flew in off the edge for one of Michigan's seven sacks, then flexed his biceps to celebrate his mighty deed. The Wolverines' defense provided plenty of muscle, Adrian Arrington and Mike Hart each scored a touchdown and Michigan stayed unbeaten with a 17-10 win on Saturday night.
 
McCoy sets mark as Texas rolls 63-31

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Colt McCoy set a Texas record with six touchdown passes and the No. 6 Longhorns recovered from an early 10-point deficit to roll over Baylor 63-31 Saturday night, seizing sole possession of first place in the Big 12 South.
 
Brawl breaks out in FIU-Miami game

MIAMI (AP) - South Florida's newest rivalry has already overheated. Miami beat Florida International 35-0 Saturday night in a game marred by a wild brawl in the third quarter that had fists flying, helmets swinging and even crutches being used as weapons. In all, 13 players were ejected _ eight from FIU, five from Miami, and each will likely face a minimum of one-game suspensions.
 
No. 11 Auburn ousts No. 2 Florida 27-17

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn's defense was getting run over again, this time by No. 2 Florida and it's two-headed quarterback attack. Coach Tommy Tuberville had seen enough and challenged his defenders at halftime.
