No. 4 West Virginia routs Connecticut

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Pat White and the West Virginia Moutaineers ran past Connecticut to push their winning streak to 14 games. White ran for 102 yards and a touchdown and threw a scoring pass and Steve Slaton rushed for 128 yards rushing to help No. 4 West Virginia beat Connecticut 37-11 in the Mountaineers' final tuneup before their showdown with sixth-ranked Louisville.
