Buckeyes, Bearcats set to renew rivalry

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Ohio State and Cincinnati are finally getting back together on the basketball court. Ohio's two most prominent programs will play Saturday in the Wooden Tradition, their first meeting since 1962 when the Bearcats beat the Buckeyes in the national title game for the second straight year.

No. 17 DePaul wins 8th straight

DETROIT (AP) - Missy Mitidiero scored 13 points in a reserve role to help No. 17 DePaul win its eighth straight game, 81-57 over Detroit on Friday night. Erin Cattell hit a 3-pointer midway through the first half to spark a 15-3 run that gave the Blue Demons (8-1) the lead for good. DePaul led 34-25 at the half and put the game away with a 12-4 spurt to open the second half.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Four of Ohio State's top underclassmen on offense are considering leaving school early to enter the NFL draft. Junior wide receivers Ted Ginn Jr. and Anthony Gonzalez, tailback Antonio Pittman and lineman Kirk Barton filed paperwork with the NFL on Friday.
