VIRGINIA WATER, England (AP) - Shaun Micheel figured he would join his wife at Newbury for the horse races on Friday, but those plans were scrapped when he knocked out Tiger Woods in Thursday's first round of the World Match Play Championship. Still riding high at Wentworth, he looked like a thoroughbred against Luke Donald.

Harrington, Orr share lead in Madrid

MADRID, Spain (AP) - Padraig Harrington and Gary Orr each shot a 7-under-par 65 Friday to share the second-round lead at the Madrid Masters while Darren Clarke was eight strokes back in his first tournament since his wife's death.
