Breeders' Cup increases purses to $20M

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The richest day in thoroughbred racing just got richer. Total purses for the Breeders' Cup World Championships have been raised to $20 million _ an increase of $6 million from last year. The eight races will be held Nov. 4 at Churchill Downs.
