MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - Though he's convinced his reputation is ruined, Floyd Landis still had to give it his best shot. He took to the witness stand at his arbitration hearing Saturday for his much-awaited testimony and found 50 different ways to say he didn't cheat.

BALTIMORE (AP) - With Street Sense still in the lead and the Preakness finish line about 100 yards away, jockey Calvin Borel could hear someone gaining on him and peeked over his right shoulder. "I kept hearing him," Borel said. "And I looked under my arm and saw him."

Horse euthanized at Pimlico Race Course

BALTIMORE (AP) - Less than an hour after Barbaro's legacy was honored with his own stakes race Saturday, tragedy struck again at Pimlico Race Course. Mending Fences was euthanized on the track after breaking down in the Dixie Stakes, a preliminary to the Preakness, which was Barbaro's downfall a year ago.
