Stomach bug confirmed at Special Olympics

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Samples from people who became ill during the Special Olympics USA National Games this week have tested positive for a virus that causes stomach flu, the Iowa Department of Public Health said Saturday. Some people were quarantined.

Jones runs fastest 100 in nearly 4 years

SAINT-DENIS, France (AP) - Marion Jones is still winning, and she's getting faster. Jones ran her fastest time in nearly four years, winning the 100 meters in 10.93 seconds Saturday at the Gaz de France meet. It was her best performance since giving birth to her son in June 2003.

American Julich crashes, brakes wrist
