SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Australian athletes at the Beijing Olympics will not be allowed to comment on their teammates or opponents, but criticism of China's human rights record won't be stifled.

EINDHOVEN, Netherlands (AP) - Three-time Olympic champion Pieter van den Hoogenband was eliminated from the 200-meter freestyle in heats Wednesday at the European swimming championships, and illness could keep out of the rest of the competition.
 
China: Olympic torch route won't change

BEIJING (AP) - The Olympic torch relay route through Tibet and to the top of Mount Everest will not change despite recent violent protests in Lhasa, a Chinese Olympic official said Wednesday.
