PARIS (AP) - Rafael Nadal will not soon go from kissing the French Open trophy to hoisting the one at Wimbledon. A young man with imagination but no illusions, the Spaniard does not pretend he blithely can transport his successes on clay to championships on grass.
 
Mirza beats Schaul 6-2, 6-0 at DFS Classic

BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) - Sania Mirza, who this year became the first Indian woman to win a WTA Tour title, served well Monday in routing Claudine Schaul 6-2, 6-0 in the first round of the DFS Classic, a grass-court warmup for Wimbledon.
 
Malisse wins at Queen's, gets Hewitt next

LONDON (AP) - Belgium's Xavier Malisse, a 2003 Wimbledon semifinalist, routed South Korea's Hyung-taik Lee 6-2, 6-0 Monday in the first round at Queen's and will next face three-time champion Lleyton Hewitt in this grass-court tuneup.

NEW YORK (AP) - NBC's telecast of Rafael Nadal's victory over Mariano Puerta in the men's final of the French Open on Sunday drew an overnight rating of 2.0, close to the usual number for a major tennis final without Americans.
