Sharapova advances to DFS quarters

BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) - Maria Sharapova defeated 16-year-old Tamira Peszak 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 Saturday to reach the DFS Classic quarterfinals in a match that was postponed two days because of rain.
 
Roddick earns finals in Wimbledon tuneup

LONDON (AP) - Second-seeded Andy Roddick and unseeded Nicolas Mahut advanced to the final of the Queen's Club grass-court championships Saturday. Roddick beat Dmitry Tursunov of Russia 6-4, 7-5, and Mahut reached his first final by serving 17 aces in a 6-3, 7-6 (4) victory over 14th-seeded Arnaud Clement.
