NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) - No. 2 seed Vince Spadea jumped to an early lead and overcame unusually windy conditions to advance to the semifinals of the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, beating Dusan Vemic, 6-3, 6-4 on Thursday.
