Pavel reaches quarterfinals in Bucharest

Mauresmo, Pierce aim for Fed Cup title

PARIS (AP) - This time, Amelie Mauresmo and Mary Pierce are teammates and their goal is a Fed Cup title for France. Last week, they met in the U.S. Open quarterfinals. Pierce won 6-4, 6-1 and went on to lose a lopsided final to Kim Clijsters.
