Italy wins Fed Cup; Henin-Hardenne quits

CHARLEROI, Belgium (AP) - The pain in her knee was so searing that Justine Henin-Hardenne knew there was only one thing to do _ stop. It didn't matter that the star Belgian was playing before a home crowd Sunday or that the Fed Cup crown was on the line in the deciding doubles match. Her body finally had enough in the third set, and the title went to Italy.

Belgium, Italy tied 2-2 in Fed Cup final

CHARLEROI, Belgium (AP) - Mara Santangelo of Italy beat Kirsten Flipkens of Belgium 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-0 Sunday to even the Fed Cup final at 2-2, leaving the top team competition in women's tennis to be settled by a doubles match.
