However, despite a sellout for the Dodge Charger 500 on Saturday night, the track's largest Busch crowd for the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 on Friday night and NASCAR sanctioning agreements for 2007 in his office, Darlington's president has some issues he can't escape.

Rain postpones Indy qualifying _ again

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Danica Patrick sounded relieved Sunday. Other drivers were merely trying to contend with the deluge of delays, distractions and disappointments that ruined the first week of Indianapolis 500 practices. But at least it wasn't a complete washout. The consolation: Having three more days to practice before qualifying for the May 28 race starts.
