Wilson on for pole for Portland race

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Justin Wilson will start from the pole for the first time in the Champ Car Grand Prix of Portland, with the other front-row spot going belatedly to teammate A.J. Allmendinger after a power outage prompted a challenge over Saturday's qualifying results.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Ralf Schumacher will not race in the United States Grand Prix because of the lingering effects from an accident he had during one of the practice sessions. Ricardo Zonta will replace him in Sunday's event.
