Eury Jr. to follow Earnhardt to Hendrick

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Tony Eury Jr. will be Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s crew chief at Hendrick Motorsports. "Tony Jr. and Dale have a successful history working together," team owner Rick Hendrick said Tuesday. "They have trust in each other, which is the biggest part of the relationship between driver and crew chief."
 
Gibbs becomes top Toyota team in NASCAR

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Joe Gibbs Racing spent 16 seasons jockeying for position in the crowded General Motors camp, where three championships in five seasons wasn't enough to move the organization to the front of the pack. JGR won't have that problem in 2008. The three-car organization will move to Toyotas next season in a switch that will make it the premier team for the Japanese automaker.
