Newman eyes Nextel Cup after Busch win

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Now, Ryan Newman will return to his real job, trying to win the NASCAR Nextel Cup. He has the pole Sunday at Dover International Speedway, where he tied a record Saturday by winning his fourth consecutive Busch series start. Before he set a track record by leading 193 of 200 laps in that race, Newman talked about his ultimate dream for the MBNA 400.
 
Alonso edges closer to F1 title with pole

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) - Fernando Alonso won the pole position for Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix, improving his chances for a top-three finish that would make him Formula One's youngest champion.
