Tyson launches verbal shots at McBride

WASHINGTON (AP) - Kevin McBride barely had a chance to utter what seems to be the only phrase he knows when Mike Tyson told him how it was going to be. This wasn't the new charming Mike Tyson. In fact, it sounded suspiciously like the Iron Mike of old.

Wife of comatose boxer keeping vigil

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Nancy Maldonado keeps a daily vigil at the bedside of her husband Ruben Contreras, holding his hand and telling the Mexican flyweight that he's in the toughest fight of his life. Contreras quit in the sixth round of a bout May 28, complaining of a headache. He had a seizure less than 10 minutes later and needed surgery to stop a hemorrhage around his brain.
