Hurricane Katrina lands in Fla., killing 2

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Hurricane Katrina toppled trees, whipped up the surf and left more than 1.3 million customers without power as it struck Florida's densely populated southeastern coast Thursday. Two people were killed by falling trees.
