Evangelist admits to 'sexual immorality'

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Saying that he was a "deceiver and liar" who had given in to his dark side, the Rev. Ted Haggard confessed to sexual immorality Sunday in a letter read from the pulpit of the megachurch he founded.

Ex-Klansman dies serving time in killing

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Former Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard Samuel H. Bowers, who was convicted eight years ago of ordering the 1966 bombing death of a civil rights leader, died Sunday in a state penitentiary, officials said. He was 82.
