Settlement reached in BlackBerry dispute

NEW YORK (AP) - The maker of the BlackBerry e-mail device Friday said it settled its long-running patent dispute with a small Virginia-based firm, averting a possible court-ordered shutdown of the BlackBerry system and a disruption of wireless service for millions of users.

Intel sees revenue below expectations

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Intel Corp., the world's largest semiconductor maker, lowered its first-quarter revenue forecast Friday, citing weaker-than-expected demand and a "slight" market share loss to rivals such as Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Its shares dropped 2 percent.
