WASHINGTON (AP) - For every generation in this country there has been a war. And with wars come millions of records that can shed light on family history, detailing everything from the color of soldiers' eyes to what their neighbors may have said about them.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Patrice Elmi hasn't touched her bulky 35 mm camera since last fall. The emerging visual artist from Los Angeles has discovered that all she needs is the diminutive gizmo she clips to her jeans and flips open to chat with friends.

Review: Sansa Connect good, but no iPod

NEW YORK (AP) - So far, nothing but a new iPod has been able to tear me away from my old iPod. But after spending some time cozying up to SanDisk Corp.'s new Sansa Connect WiFi MP3 player, I'm willing to admit there are other players I'd use in a pinch.
