The dismantled _ and in some cases, permanently busted _ iPhones revealed one of Apple Inc.'s closely guarded secrets: The names of the companies that supplied the chips and other electronic components for the highly anticipated device.

Universal seeks short-term iTunes deal

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Universal Music Group is seeking a month-by-month licensing deal with Apple Inc.'s iTunes that would no longer guarantee the online music seller access to all Universal content, a person familiar with the negotiations said Monday.
