Sun posts fiscal fourth-quarter profit

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Sun Microsystems Inc. posted a fourth-quarter profit on Tuesday, beating Wall Street expectations as the server and software maker said demand has stabilized after a long decline that started with the dot-com bust of 2000.
 
Amazon.com 2Q net profit falls

SEATTLE (AP) - Amazon.com Inc. said Tuesday its second-quarter earnings sagged 32 percent from a year ago, in large part due to a big income tax hit, but brisk sales and a jump in operating profits sent the stock surging in after-hours trading.

Motorola to offer Yahoo access on devices
