MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A company that sold and distributed seed corn containing an unregistered genetically engineered pesticide has agreed to pay a $1.5 million penalty to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - A Samsung Electronics Co. executive agreed to plead guilty and serve 10 months in prison for his role in a global price-fixing scheme involving a common form of computer memory, federal prosecutors said Thursday.
