NASA reviews canceled asteroid mission

LOS ANGELES (AP) - In an unusual move, NASA is reviewing a recent decision by an agency head to scrap a mission to orbit two asteroids. The Dawn project was canceled on March 2, five months after it was put on hold because of cost overruns and technical problems.

MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) - For more than 75 years, shipping companies that haul iron ore, coal, salt and limestone have dumped their "cargo sweepings" _ residual materials and wash water left on freighters after they are unloaded _ into the Great Lakes to avoid contaminating future loads.
 
Faulty sensor delays space shuttle launch
