One of Mars rover's wheels stops working

PASADENA, Calif. (AP) - One of the six wheels on the Mars rover Spirit has stopped working and the solar-powered robot must propel itself up a slope to catch enough sunshine to keep operating, NASA said Friday.

Space Center accidents prompt directive

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) - As Kennedy Space Center employees returned to work Friday with orders to be more careful following a spate of accidents, authorities said a roofer died after falling from a warehouse.
