Hawaii telescopes record cosmic explosion

HONOLULU (AP) - Telescopes atop Mauna Kea in Hawaii recorded the most distant cosmic explosion ever seen, probably caused by the collapse of a massive dying star, according to University of Hawaii astronomers.

American space tourist ready for launch
