GENEVA (AP) - Teenage siblings who died of bird flu in Turkey were the first humans outside East Asia to succumb to the deadly H5N1 strain that has apparently been spread by migratory birds, the U.N. health agency said Saturday.

GENEVA (AP) - A teenage sister and brother who died of bird flu in Turkey this week were infected with the H5N1 strain of the virus, making it the first time that strain has killed humans outside East Asia, the U.N. health agency said Saturday.

Tests confirm H5N1 flu strain in Turkey

DOGUBAYAZIT, Turkey (AP) - The European Union said Saturday that lab tests confirmed that an outbreak of bird flu in poultry in Turkey was the deadly H5N1 strain, but tests were ongoing to determine whether the same strain killed two teenage siblings earlier this week.

Baltimore is named America's fittest city

BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore has been named America's fittest city, with Chicago overtaking Houston as the fattest. Last year's fittest city, Seattle, drops to No. 8 in the new list, released today by Men's Fitness magazine.
