FDA panel wants more anemia drug studies

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) - Two months after federal regulators ordered additional warnings be added to the labels of blockbuster anemia drugs, government advisers said Thursday Amgen Inc. and Johnson & Johnson should be required to add more warnings and conduct additional safety studies.

LONDON (AP) - If it really is what's on the inside that counts, then a lot of thin people might be in trouble. Some doctors now think that the internal fat surrounding vital organs like the heart, liver or pancreas _ invisible to the naked eye _ could be as dangerous as the more obvious external fat that bulges underneath the skin.
 
Merck problem means extra shot for kids

U.S. hatcheries got contaminated feed

WASHINGTON (AP) - Fish feed made with a contaminated Chinese ingredient was distributed to about 120 fish hatcheries and farms, roughly split between the United States and Canada, officials said Thursday.
