MILWAUKEE (AP) - A young man loading baggage into an airplane in Milwaukee got locked in a cargo hold Friday and stayed there on a flight to Philadelphia, Midwest Airlines officials said.

Calif. inmate swallows handcuff key

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (AP) - A jail inmate swallowed his key to freedom. During a sweep of the high-security wing of the county jail, deputies discovered that Jose Angel Juarez had swallowed a handcuff key and set off the metal detector during a walkthrough screening.
 
80-year-old man arrested in drug probe

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Police have arrested an 80-year-old man for investigation of selling crack and methamphetamine from his home. Calvin D. Ott was released on $10,000 bail Thursday. He was arrested Wednesday after police searched his home with a warrant and found pill bottles loaded with crack and crystal meth, said Olympia police Detective Sam Costello.
 
School board VP charged with prostitution

ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) - A school board member and prominent lawyer has been charged with prostitution, accused of offering legal services in exchange for sexual favors. Steven C. Copenhaver, 56, was released from jail Thursday on a $750 bond.
 
'Pioneer' with weapons and bibles arrested

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Two sheriff's deputies checking on a motorist stopped along Interstate 70 in the predawn darkness were puzzled at first by what they found _ a driver dressed like an old-time pioneer, saying he was headed for South Dakota with Bibles and "supplies" for American Indian children.
 
Easter Bunny gets pummeled by boy at mall

BAY CITY, Mich. (AP) - The Easter Bunny is hopping mad. Bryan Johnson, who portrays the furry character at the Bay City Mall, says he was pummeled in an unprovoked attack on the job. Police say the attacker was a 12-year-old boy who sat on Johnson's lap the day before the March 18 incident.
 
Homeless man allegedly takes boat, mustard
