Abberration splits dog's left leg in two

AVON LAKE, Ohio (AP) - A developmental problem split Angel the dog's leg, making her look like a five-legged pet. Veterinarian Frank Krupka, with the Avon Lake Animal Clinic in suburban Cleveland, said he's never seen anything like it.
 
NY is top pet-friendly place for 2008

NEW YORK (AP) - The Big Apple has gone to the dogs _ and is being awarded for it. The city has been selected as the pet-friendliest destination of 2008, according to Animal Fair, a lifestyle magazine for pet owners. It's one of the seven winners of this year's Cesar Five Dog Bone Awards, voted on by readers.

MOUNT CARMEL, Tenn. (AP) - Mount Carmel police say a Kingsport man clocked driving a motorcycle 156 miles per hour may have been testing the town's new speed enforcement cameras. Authorities said 23-year-old Loda Eugene Ward Jr. has been charged with reckless driving.
