SALEM, Mass. (AP) - A dispute between two boys hawking lemonade and a rival vendor who forced police to shut down their unlicensed stand was resolved Wednesday after the mayor orchestrated what he called "a corporate merger."

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A briefcase found Wednesday outside a San Antonio mosque was thought to possibly be a bomb, so police cleared away worshippers, sealed off the area and evacuated dozens of people from a nearby apartment complex. But the metal case turned out to have unexpected contents _ an apparent cash donation to the mosque.
