STORRS, Conn. (AP) - After Connecticut breezed through the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament, coach Geno Auriemma knows the Huskies' quest for a fourth straight national championship will get a lot tougher.
"When the NCAA tournament comes, things happen quickly. You really don't have time to get your bearings," Auriemma said. "We're just going to need a couple days to regroup."
The third-seeded Huskies dominated Florida State 70-52 Tuesday night in their second-round game by wearing down the smaller Seminoles with depth and defense. UConn (25-7) will play second-seeded Stanford in the Kansas City Regional semifinals Sunday.
