PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Saint Joseph's returned to normal this year. No swarm of TV cameras at practices. No national magazine covers. And you don't have to be Billy Packer to know these Hawks didn't deserve a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
About the only part that remained the same — besides the Hawk mascot constantly flapping his wings — was the winning.
Saint Joe's failed to duplicate last season's run, but it built a pretty sturdy resume: A fifth straight Atlantic 10 division title, a 20-win season and now a trip to New York for the NIT semifinals.
