BERLIN (AP) - Germany's jobless rate dipped in March, and the number of unemployed fell from the previous month's post-World War II record, government figures showed Thursday.
The unadjusted jobless rate dropped to 12.5 percent from 12.6 percent in February as the number of people without work fell to 5.176 million from 5.216 million, the Federal Labor Agency said.
The drop in March jobless numbers was "significantly smaller than in previous years," agency chief Frank-Juergen Weise said.
