CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Vicente Padilla threw four shutout innings in a rehabilitation start for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons on Saturday.
Padilla, recovering from right triceps tendinitis, allowed one hit, while striking out five. He threw 48 pitches.
Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Corey Koskie, playing for Syracuse, went 0-for-4 and struck out twice against Padilla.
