ST. LOUIS (AP) - Monsanto Co. plans to sell its Enviro-Chem Systems Inc. unit to the managers of the subsidiary, Monsanto officials said Tuesday.
Enviro-Chem provides engineering, procurement and construction management services for processing plants that use sulfuric acid. The division also makes and sells proprietary equipment and air pollution control systems.
Terms of the nonbinding letter of intent were not disclosed, spokeswoman Lori Fisher said. Both Monsanto and Enviro-Chem are based in St. Louis.
