PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Baron Davis had 22 points and 11 assists, and Troy Murphy added 22 points and 10 rebounds to give the Golden State Warriors a 104-102 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night for their season-high eighth straight win.
While they're not headed for the playoffs, the Warriors are one of the hottest teams in the NBA with 11 victories in 13 games.
Ruben Patterson had 27 points for the Blazers, who have lost six straight and aren't headed to the postseason, either. Portland (24-50) reached 50 losses for the first time since 1973-74, when they went 27-55.
