 TORONTO (AP) - The ballpark renovations won't lead to success for Toronto unless the Blue Jays play better.
"You can do everything you want to this stadium, and make it look as pretty possible, but it comes down to playing better baseball," Vernon Wells said Thursday as the Blue Jays worked out ahead of Friday's home opener against Boston.
SkyDome has been renamed the Rogers Centre, a FieldTurf surface has been installed and there's a new videoboard.
