MIAMI (AP) - Tim Hudson's debut for the Braves ended the same way so many of his American League starts did with a win.
Hudson spent much of the night pitching out of trouble and lasted just five innings, but that was long enough to earn the victory as Atlanta beat the Florida Marlins 4-2 Thursday night.
A throwing error by Gold Glove second baseman Luis Castillo led to two Atlanta runs. Braves backup catcher Eddie Perez hit an RBI double off A.J. Burnett (0-1).
