MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The Memphis Grizzlies dominated play inside against a Miami Heat team missing Shaquille O'Neal and moved closer to a spot in the playoffs with a 97-81 victory Friday night.
The Grizzlies, who are battling the Minnesota Timberwolves for the eighth and final Western Conference spot, also used accuracy from long range to build a 30-point first-half advantage. Memphis, which hit its first five 3-point attempts, led 60-35 at the half.
Mike Miller led the Grizzlies with a season-high 30 points. Pau Gasol added 17 and Bonzi Wells had 15 off the bench.
