 SAN DIEGO (AP) - Xavier Nady had four hits and a career-high four RBIs to lead the San Diego Padres to an 11-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday night.
After a poor performance in his first start, Woody Williams (1-0) limited the Pirates to three runs and five hits with six strikeouts in six innings.
Nady had a three-run homer, a triple and two singles for his first career four-hit game.
