MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) - He won the truck race at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday and started sixth in the Nextel Cup race Sunday, giving Bobby Labonte hope that maybe he could start turning things around.
Instead, he had more bad luck, pulling his car into the garage with an engine problem after 436 laps and being relegated to 33rd place in the Advance Auto Parts 500, a race he even led when his problems began.
"That's better than running 33rd when it happened," he said. "So we're running good. We just need to stay there."
