WASHINGTON (AP) - An agreement to relieve the debt burden of the globe's poorest countries probably won't be finalized at this weekend's meetings of finance officials, World Bank president James Wolfensohn said in an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press.
Wolfensohn said he was confident an agreement would emerge later this year, perhaps at a conference of world leaders in July.
"The sticking points are just differences in approach," Wolfensohn said. "It is not malicious."
