NEW YORK (AP) - Houston Astros second baseman Craig Biggio's was hit by a pitch in the right forearm Wednesday night and he had to leave the game.
X-rays were negative, and Biggio, wearing a large ice wrap on the forearm, said he was day to day.
Biggio, who was leading off the top of the ninth, appeared to swing at the pitch from Mets closer Braden Looper that hit him. He immediately fell to the ground, holding his forearm.
