AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - If a four-year battle for playing time couldn't divide Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown, a few spots in the NFL draft certainly won't. The two Auburn tailbacks spent their college careers competing on the field and hanging out off it. Now they're expected to be not only the first running backs selected in Saturday's draft, but among the Top 10 overall picks a historic feat made even more notable because of the sheer lack of jealousy between the close friends.
Even some NFL executives were skeptical.
"You can just see the look on their faces: 'Man, you've got two guys as talented as y'all are, you both want the ball are y'all really friends?'" Williams said. "They kind of find that amazing."
