LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar rose Friday morning against most other major currencies in European trading. Gold prices fell.
The euro was quoted at $1.3066, down from $1.3101 Thursday.
Other dollar rates compared with late Thursday included: 106.33 Japanese yen, down from 107.16; 1.1814 Swiss francs, up from 1.1769, and 1.2378 Canadian dollars, up from 1.2369.
