PHOENIX (AP) - Troy Glaus went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and Tony Clark homered in a rare start to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to an 8-6 victory over the San Diego Padres on Sunday.
Shawn Estes allowed three runs and three hits in seven innings for the Diamondbacks, who withstood a late-inning San Diego rally to complete their second three-game sweep of the season and record their franchise-record ninth home win in April.
The Padres narrowed a seven-run deficit to two by scoring five times in the seventh and eighth innings.
