LONDON (AP) - Share prices were lower on the London Stock Exchange Wednesday.
The FTSE 100-share index closed down 56.1 points, or 1.2 percent, at 4,789.4.
Provisional volume was 3.5 billion shares, compared with 2.8 billion on Tuesday.
